Hopscotch opened in November 2017, in a space that had spent years as a smoky neighborhood watering hole. Two years of renovation later, it reopened as something different — a scratch kitchen, a real bar, a patio shielded from May Avenue, and a back room full of pool, darts, shuffleboard, and arcade games. Somewhere between dinner spot and rec room. On purpose.

The name came first, and it set the tone for everything else.

That feeling shows up in the details. Rice Crispy Bricks the size of your hand. A Mac Street Boys sandwich that takes four napkins. Music Bingo on Mondays, trivia the first Tuesday of every month, brunch on weekends, and a kitchen that stays open late. Bring the kids early. Bring your friends later. Bring the dog out to the patio.

Hopscotch is one of several concepts under Convivial Concepts, the hospitality company founded by Joe and Lesley. The family also includes Paseo Grill (in its 20th year), The Goat, City & State Venue & Events in Automobile Alley, Convivial Catering, and a few new spots opening around OKC.
